As MedEx continues to grow, we are adding ambulances to our fleet, and we are seeking enthusiastic and talented EMS personnel.

EMT-B/EMT-P

MedEx has positions available for EMT-B’s and EMT-P’s. Applicants must have a current Illinois EMT-B/EMT-P license, Current CPR card, be 18 Years of age or older, have a current Drivers License and good driving record.

DISPATCHER
MedEx has positions available for experienced ambulance dispatchers for our communications center.  Candidates must have experience dispatching for a private ambulance service in the Chicagoland area. Applicants must have a current EMD certification, and current EMT-B/EMT-P license.

CRITICAL CARE PARAMEDIC
MedEx has positions available for CCEMT-P’s. Applicants must have a current Illinois EMT-P license, successfully completed the UMBC CCEMT-P program, Current CPR card, be 21 Years of age or older, have a current Drivers License and good driving record.

AMBULANCE BILLING SPECIALIST
MedEx has positions available for an Ambulance Billing Specialist.  Duties include accurate and timely entry and processing of ambulance patient care reports, in accordance with company standards and CMS compliance. Duties also include coding, data entry, medical necessity and payment posting. Applicants MUST have private ambulance billing experience including Medicare and Medicaid ambulance coding, billing, medical necessity experience, good computer skills and the ability to communicate effectively. Paramedic license a plus!
